ISLAND OF THE BLUE DOLPHINS CHAPTER 4


Captain Orlov : he is a selfish , stingy , dishonest and is not a trustworthy man . having hundred and five bales of otters , he refused to give only three of them .

Aleuts : they follow their captain's orders whether it brings danger or security . they are cruel and unfair .

Chief chowig ( karana's father ) : he cares for his villagers as he is their chief . he held his responsibilities as chief and stood his ground against the Aleuts. He fought till his death . he is justice going and loyal to his village people .

Why Captain Orlov refused to give only 3 of the otter pelts?
Why Aleuts follow their captain's orders?
Why karana father become the chief?How you know he feels it was his reponsibilty as a chief?
You didn't say clearly about the character.

You could have given sentences from the storybook to tell when and why their character, for that moment was like what the characters are written in the blog.
