I don’t like to have projects in every subject,one subject aready is diffcult enough as we have to get together to discuss somethings but the days we choose,some people cant make it.Problems also happen when one does not agree with another suggestions.But projects can also be useful when our exams marks are low as it help to pull up the marks.When doing projects, responsibilities and fairness are important.Resposibilities should be given out equally and fairly. No one is suppose to get more work to do or lesser work to do .

Projects such as science,need to do experiments.And we need to surf the net to think of better ideas and tips.Science is about understanding why somethings are such.

The goal that I set for myself was to do well for my Year-End examinations.I did not have high goals,to me a pass is enough. I sometimes tried to study hard and concentrate during lessons in school to hit my goal.Sometimes I get tired of studying and I would try to solve them by telling myself if I give up now,I might not even pass.
I would do my assigments and revise my work before I even know when are the exams.Before the exam,I don’t revise as thoroughly as before.

I would work even harder and set higher goals for the coming exams.

During this semester, I have learnt many things from school. After reflecting, I have learnt that I could understand my work better if I pay attention in class.
Since then, I realised that it was important. I tried and started paying extra close attention in class .After all , it did help and I get to understand stuff and do my homework easier. Not only that ,I have also started to do extra revisions.
This semester ,i learnt how 2 make doorstopper during Design and Technology classes we learnt how to make doorstopper ,it was very fun and interesting but it takes great hard work just to fix one part of it.

After the doorstopper is done, I realsied hard work does pay off.

In my opinion every student's goal is to succeed in their examinations and move on to the next level of education and do well in life.

So do I and my first step to do well in school, tests, and exams. To do well in all this I have to pay attention in class and concentrate in my work. The main strategy is to set a target to for my self. Setting a target doesn't solves everything. I have to reach the target and move on to another one. To reach my target I have to work toward it like paying attention in class, doing my homework properly, asking my teacher if I don't know any questions and lastly handing in my homework in time.

This small process help me to fullfill my target.

There are many mistakes I have done in year 2007. The most serious one was the one I mentioned before in topic 2. To recap I was talking to my freinds during lesson time. That mistake really make me fall back in time, meaning not letting me to concentrate in class.I will not blame my friends for that because it is my decesion if I want to talk with them or not.

It was such a fall back. I was never been able to catch up with the class after that. Than one by one I slowly practiced my work at home and in the end of a semester I was able to pass my test with flying colours.

From that day onwards I will not talk with my freinds during lesson even if they force me to do it.

Projects are homework too. What is so different about project is that they need teamwork and team members. To successfully complete your project you have to work with your team. Most importantly you must co-operate with your team members.

Basically, working with a team helps you to know your friends and classmates well. It also teaches us to search for information's both on books and Internet. The thing I enjoy most about doing projects is working with my friends.

Projects need to be worked with care and responsibility. Each team member need to work according to their specific roles. They also need to do their work properly and hand it into the group leader. Then the group leader will present it to the teacher.

I think that for every students, their goals is to study hard and even harder to do well for all of their Examinations and that applies to me too, I also want to do well for my Examinations. Thus, i set a target for myself.

I will study very hard so that i will be able to get to my target. I will try to improve on my weaker subjects and do well for my better subjects, i will also be more attentive at class too. When i do badly, i will take that as a challenge and find out where my weak points are, so that i will be able to improve on it.

I will revise my homework after what i have learn today and try to score well for all my subjects. I will hand in my homwork in time and try not to play too much computer and try not to watch too much telvision too so that i would be able to revise more on my homwork.

My goal when I first step into teck whye secondary school was to do well in my exams. When first semester started it was difficult to cope with my studies and than everything went by like a breeze.

Even I did not do well in my first semester I gradually picked up my pase and started doing well and scoring high marks. The most challenging subjects were English and mathematics. Every time when the class starts I will always talk with my friends and when exam comes I will not pass maths. And when the results came out it was such a disgrace. Then I regretted it.

After that I concentrated on my subjects and what my teacher were teaching. I work hard towards the exam. In my mind, I thought I made it in to secondary express course and why can't I get high marks.

That question lead me to my victory.

The mistake that i had done is that i have failed my Chinese language test paper during my CA2 Examination. I was so shocked and unhappy as i thought that i was confident that i would surely get a pass when i get back my Chinese language test paper, but i was wrong. I failed badly for it and I felt guilty that i have not done well for it and make my parents proud.

When my parents saw my Chinese language test paper, they got so angry and began scolding and even started beating me. They say that i am a Chinese and also speak Chinese. They told me that I should not have failed it and also wanted me to promise them that i will not fail again no matter what subject i am going to get tested on.

After that incident, i told myself that i must work harder and from that day onwards, i would not let them down again and make them proud about my test results.

My thoughts about doing project is that we can discuss things together as a group. I enjoys doing project when my group are cooperative and give each other good and better ideas then the previous one. Doing project on yourself will be harder as there are no people you can give comments or ideas. We can also get more knowledge as we surf the net while getting more informations that we cannot get on our textbook.

I think that the most inportant things about project is Teamwork, Cooperation and also Responsibility. Everyone should do their own work and complete their own roles. We should not give any excuses when we did not do finish the work we are given. If we can do properly, we can be able to add extra marks to our Examinations marks.

When we are doing project in a computer, it is more easier and convenient as we will not worry about making our papers missing.

The goal that i have set for myself is to do well for my End-Of-Year-Examinations, to try improving on all my weaker subjects.

During the first semester, I did not did very well for all of my subjects as i did prepare well for it and only prepare for it at the last minute. I regret that i have not been paying attention during classes.

After that incident, I work harder and paid attention to all of the classes. I also looked through all of the worksheets which i have collected from my teacher. I also read through my Textbooks too.


After getting my Examinations marks,although i scored pretty badly, it is better then my previous Examinations marks. After this incident, i realised that it is better to prepare before the Examinations then preparing it at the last minute.

During this semester,i have learnt a lot of new subjects like History,Gegraphy,Home Economics and Design and Technology. All of the subjects that i had learn are those that i had not learnt when i am in Primary School. I found out that all of the new subject i had learnt about are rather interesting. At first, I am scared that i will fail badly for some of the subject as it is the first time I am learning them.

But mostly all of subject that i had learnt, passed. The subject that i enjoyed mostly is Home Economics. The teacher that teaches us Home Economics is very friendly and i learn a lot about cooking food and making biscuits. It is a good experience for me as i did not know how to cook when i am at home. Thus, i can help my Mom out at home with the dishes. I also learnt how to cooperate with my partner too.

This year I have learnt many new subjects that I have not learnt in my primary school such as geography, history , food and nutrition , design and technology and many different topics. They were hard at first but as days passed I got used to it and was more comfortable with the sujects. In many different ways the subjects were intresting. Than there came the exams. It was really scary when I first took my exam. I was so nervous about how hard the paper was going to be. But it all turned out find.

My favourite subject was home economics/food and nutrition. It was the most fun subjects of all. The teacher was so freindly, to the students who listen to her and do their work properly. The lesson I most enjoyed was the practical session. I had my oppotunity to show of my talents in cooking. This way I was more comfortable with the practical exams for F&N. I did chilli chicken stew with stawberry milkshake. I passed my test with flying colours.

A mistake I have done for the past semester is to study last minute for exam, even though I knew, what will happen if I still continue doing it. I also sleep during class, because lack of sleep and I kept being scolded by teachers because of it. As I scared that if I keep doing it often, teacher will make an action by telling my parents about it. Well, I did manage not to sleep in class that often and stop doing last minute study but I still got bad grades for my Mid-year and End-of-year examination.

I planned to take things as serious as possible, and tried to avoid doing last minute study or revision. I promised to myself, I will study a month before exam start, and paying full attention to what teacher teach in class. I wouldn’t want to disappoint my parents as they have work so hard to pay our school fees, and to make us a better person .

My thoughts of doing project for every subject is an effective way to improve your low marks , even though by one or two marks , it is still counted and useful especially if the marks are combine with few other marks to total up your exam marks. It is also a good way to interact more with your friends but the difficult thing about doing project is when most of your friends are not cooperating and you have to do it all alone. But doing project alone is better because your effort will be paid off and marks are given correctly.

Doing project online is easier because most of us spend our time online , and we don't have to worry about losing our papers .

For every students , our jobs is to study hard and do well for all the exams . This also applies to me . I want to do well for my exams with flying colours .

To achieve from this goal , I need to pay more attention in school , asked help from teachers or classmates who are better in this subject . I also need to revise and do more assessments on my weaker subjects so that I can improve on it as well as other subjects too .

I will always do my best in all my subjects . I will revise my works before the examinations started . I know it will not be so easy to work so well at one go . But I can do it one step by a time .

Everyone do make mistakes and so do I . I remembered once that I receive back my CA2 result slip , I was so shocked that I failed my science . This is my first time that I fail any subjects . I was so unhappy that time . I know its too late to feel unhappy on that time .

When I got back home , I get a scolding from my father . I told him the reason why I fail and he understand . He ask me to promise to work hard for the End-Of-Year Examinations . I agreed .

From that days onward , I work extra hard on the subject and paid extra attention during the lesson . I also hand up my homeworks on time too . I don't want to let them down .

Well , projects are considered as homeworks for us during holidays . I quite enjoy doing projects as its usually done in groups . But , I do not like working individually because there is no one to give me idea and it is much more diffcult when there is no one to give you comment .

I like doing projects in team because we give different ideas and suggestions in different ways . No one is to be left out and everyone are allowed to say out what they feel . But , sometimes we will quarral because some of our opinions are not the same . However , after much explainations , we will once again friends .

Projects do let us know better in understanding different subjects . And also we can get prepare when we get older . We will not be so blur if they let do us do major projects etc . Overall , projects are quite interested whereby friends get together and give ideas .

The one goal that I have set for myself is to do well for my End-Of-Year Examinations and try to improve on my weaker subject .

During the first semester , I did not do quite well for it because I did not prepare well for it and I prepare at the last time . I regret doing so . But , I had paid attention during class .

From then on , I prepare quite a few days ago . I look through the worksheets which my teacher had given to me as well as the textbook . And I spent more time on that subject . As for the coming subjects , I work very hard for it and I score quite well then before . I did not regret doing all those preparations .

During this semester , I have learnt a lot of new stuffs and four new subjects were introduced to me . They are Home Economics , Geography , History and Design and Technology . These subjects are all new to me as I do not study all these in my primary school . I felt scared at that time because its new to me and I fear that I would score badly for it .

But , as months went by , I realised I did quite well for all the subjects but I like History the most . It was because the teacher was funny most of the time and serious at all time . She explains to us clearly and I do understand well .

Home Econs was another my liking because I enjoyed cooking and I seldom cooked at home and thus it is a good experience for me . And I learnt to cooperate with my partner too .

Topic 1



In this semester , new subjects are thought to us , such as History , Design & technology . First , I will worry about not being able to cope with so many subjects because on top of this 2 subjects , I still have Geography , Food & nutrition , English , Maths and Science . A total of 7 subjects !



I enjoyed History lessons the most , beacause our teacher-in-charge is very friendly to all of us . She tries to make lessons interesting by stating examples that happened in life or that she has experienced . She makes sure that we really understand the topic before she moves on and that all of us did our homework .



The next lesson that I enjoy was F&N , also known as Food & Nutrition . I am interested in this subjects because I can learn how to cook healthily . Since I was young , my mother didn't allow me to cook , but I was very interested in cooking and now I get to learn about cooking !



I'll strive to get good grades for my all my subjects , be it like or dislike . :D

From the beggining of the year , the goal I set for myself was to do my best . I would try my best to focus in the subject when I'm revising .



But during the year , I was hooked onto computer games , online chatting , sms-ing and spending time out with my friends . Therefore , causing my results to slipped . But group works pulled up my overall marks . Though I passed , I'm not very satisfied , because I know if there isn't any group works I will fail badly .



I regretted not studying hard enough for all my common tests and exams . Although I know that that's how far I can go , I knew I would've done better if I were to study harder .



Topic 3

I would prefer to do group projects because my group members can share their ideas and each of them has their own role for the project , so that one's workload will not be too much . During group works , the friendship between members gets better and they get to know each other more .

61Whereas , indivual work would be more difficult as one must do all the things alone . It's tougher than doing in groups because in times we may run out of ideas or when we make a mistake , there's no one to tell you .

I feel that most of us will be more into doing the project if it is done in groups . Therefore , more projects should be done in groups , so that this will make students more spontaneous during lesson time .

The biggest mistake I made was to do badly for my exams , both Mid-year and End-of-year . Although I know it's over , I can't help but be sad about it . Evertime I would tell myself , " I must do better for the next exam or class test , " but I still failed to do that .

Of course , I got a scolding from my parents . I know it's because they care , but I can't help but answered back sometimes because I know this is how much I can go for now . Still , I would apologise to them later .

I guess I must really do better . Because of the high hopes my parents carry , I've disappoint them time and again and I don't want to do that again !

Topic 5

I will strive to get better results ! And do assesments that are given by my subject teachers . I'll try to focus more in class and ask the teacher if I'm not sure about anything .

I'm going to find time for a day to study in groups with my friends and help each other with the things we're not very strong at . And will not do last minute revisions or homeworks .

I'll try to lessen my time on the computer and television , unless needed for any study uses , so that I can have more time doing my homework . I'll get ready for a new year in secondary 2 and do well in my studies !

The goal I’ve set for myself in September is to achieve good grades for my End-of-year examination. The steps I have taken to achieve the goal I’ve set was to reduce spending time chatting online with my friends, talking on the phone till late nights and other routines that I used to do .

Other than that, I tried to catch up on the subjects I have been doing badly since the past semester such as Mathematics, Science& English. I paid more attention in class and also tried not to fallen asleep while teacher was teaching. I regretted studying last minute, even though I knew the consequences.

Since I think it was still not enough, I tried to have study groups with my friends from other schools and asked what their teacher taught them in class. I believe that different teachers have different way of teaching, so I guess this might be one of the ways to widen my thinking of a particular topic. I set targets for myself too, like having B for English, C for Science and same goes to the other subject.

I've learnt a lot of things during this semester and one of them is , learning how to cook in the right way and it was part of the subject called Home economics or , Food and Nutrition . I never tried cooking at home before , and that was the reason why I got low marks for the subject but it was a great experience to cook with your friends , and the ability to know , what is your strength and weakness in cooking . After few lessons , I tried to improve my cooking , and i should say , I'm proud with my cooking . Even though it was not satisfying enough , at least I improved .

For the past semester,i've been through a hard time mainly on my studies and also projects.There was once that the secondary ones students was told to do a project on egg drop.

The egg drop competition was to prevent eggs from breaking.And my group failed to prevent the egg from breaking.we were quite upset as we have put in a lot of hardwork in it.But it was part of competition.One time,i received a very bad grade for my maths subject.And i knew it was my mistake for having last minute revision.

From there onwards, it have thought me a great lesson on not having to do things late.It really change me and i have started to revise earlier before exams.

For the next semester,i would like to upgrade myself on the subjects which i am weak in.And i will try to get help from people which are good then me.

I remembered when I received my CA2 result sheet, I was very unhappy because I failed my Science subject.When I reached home, my mother gave me a very harsh scolding.

Actually, I already expected to do very badly for my science as I didn't really study alot.I really regretted for not studying and revising before the exam.

Since then, I tried my best to pay attention in class and to do my homework daily.When the teacher was teaching, I would try to scribble down notes and important key points onto my textbook.

After this incident, I learnt my lesson and the importance of revising my homework.

As for me, I would try harder to achieve my targets. I will work harder and study harder and check through my homework. I will improve the subjects I am weaker at. I will be more attentive at school at asked for help from teachers and my classmates at the subjects I am weaker at.

I will remember and revise at home after our teacher teach one topic. I will try to score well for all the subjects. I must work harder for my Geography, D&T as I am weaker at these two subjects.

Well, everyone make mistakes. So do I. I remember there was once that I got back my mathematic result for my SA1. I found out that I did poorly and almost fail. I was taken aback. When I check through, I found out that it is my careless mistake the reason why I almost fail. It is almost ten marks more if I have check throughly.

I got a scolding from my mother when I reached home. I told her the reason why I score so low. She was even angier when she heard it. She did not allow me to use computer for two to three weeks as punishment. From then on, I learnt my lesson and make sure that I do my work and study hard.


I also promised my mother that I will work extra harder and check my work throughly. I hand up my homework on time and paid attention during the lessons.

I enjoyed doing projects as it is usually being done in groups. I enjoyed teamwork as everyone give ideas that are even better than the previous one. Doing projects by myself is harder as there is no one to give ideas or to comment to. We need to surf the net to have more information on the project that is related. Surfing the net allow us to gather informations which we cannot find at our textbook.

But when we are doing projects in teamwork, we must be cooperative and everyone should contribute for the project. Nobody is supposed to be left out or give excuses when he or she did not complete his or her role. We must be responsible for what we did ,must have confidence in ourselves and what we do.

If a person is responsible and does what he or she should do, I am sure alot of people will like to be in the same group with him or her. Similarly,for a person that always give excuses and did not do his or her part, nobody will like to be in the same group as him or her. If we cooperate well, we will do well in it and have no regrets for what we did.

The goal I set for myself is to improve in my weaker subjects and pass all my examinations with flying colour.When the examinations are coming nearer, I forcus more on my weaker subjects but not forgeting other subjects. I prepared three days earlier so that I would not confused myself.

During the End Year Examination, I work very hard and asked for help from my elder cousins or my classmate that are better in that subject. Everytime after one exam is over, the teacher will let us revise the next day exam in groups but provided that we will be quiet. I will gather in groups with my friends that are better in the subject that I am weak at. I will ask them questions that I don't understand and they will help me immediately.

I did not regret as I have given my best during the exams and I checked through the paper again and again. I read the questions properly before answering them. I waste no time.But I believed I can score better if I work extra harder.

During this semester, I learnt alot of new stuffs that I have never learn before when I was in primary school. Four new subjects for this semester are History, Geography,Home Economics and Design & Technology. I was afraid that I wouldn't score well because they were new to me, so I paid attention during the lessons.

Then, as time flew by, I realised that the subjects can be quite interesting and useful. I scored well for my history and I enjoy history lessons the most as my history teacher is friendly but very strict at our studies and homework. I was keen in history since I was in primary school.

I also like Home Econs. I enjoy baking the most because I like to bake it during special occasions such as Chinese New Year to let my relatives try whether did I improve in my baking after being taught by my teacher.I learnt to cook food that interest me and cooperate with my partner.

I hope I will do better next year and improve in my weaker subjects.

I find projects quite interesting because they allow us to learn things in a more fun way, instead of reading our textbooks.I feel that teamwork and coperation are the most important things to accomplish a project.

Well, when a task is given and roles are distirbuted.We should perform each of our individual roles, and not to push the responsibility to another team member.I think responsibilty is also very important.

However, I feel that projects are quite stressful at times due to the way we manage our time.Sometimes, we spend to much time playing and leave all of the important things to be done in the last minute.We should do the important things first.

Topic 5-qingqing

As a student, I will pay total attention in class to try to absorb every single thing that the teacher is teaching even though i dislike the subject. I will do my best and participate in all projects in order to get the bonus points which will be added to my result. Planning my time well is important. I hope that i can plan my time well for everything.

I will try to score for my Secondary 2 streaming in order to get into my dream class , D & T. I will hand in my work on time. Whenever my teacher gives us homework for this particular subject, but also other subjects. I will do my really best and put in hard work for every piece of homework given by the teacher.

I hope to be a sensible student. I will prepare my exam two weeks before and not rushing it at the eleventh hour so that i will not fail my exams.

For me , I would like to do my best in my subjects so that I can move up to a better class. I would also like to do my best in my attitude. I would like to change my attitude to the better.

Now that I have passed secondary 1 , I hope that I would pass even much better. Everyone has a weakness in a certain subject. As for me , I have a few. My only goal for now is to put more effort in my weaker subjects. I need to be more hardworking and careful too. Secondary 2 would not be as easy as secondary 1. I know that it would be much difficult so I have to start managing my own time. So that I would not spending too much time playing or even too much time in studying.

Now that I know what to do to achieve my goal , I would start right away. Starting from now , I would try my best not to waste precious time just like that.

After getting back my results for CA2 , I was pleased and also dissapointed at my results. I was pleased at the subjects that I did well. I was dissapointed at my English but mostly Science. For English , I got C6. I knew I could do much better. For Science , I got D7. I never thought of failing in any of my subjects. (62)

Before that exam my science teacher , Miss Ng , taught me and I seemed to do well. But after she left , a relieve teacher named Miss Chua taught the class. She was much better than Miss Ng. Honestly , she is not that good at making me understand the things that she is teaching. That is why I did not do well in Science.

Before the SA2 , Miss Ng came back and taught my class again. I really paid my fullest atteniton because I did not want to regret after getting my results. I did the exam with confidence and my goal was to do much better than the previous paper.

Projects could be quite challenging sometimes. It could also be interesting when doing with friends. Surfing through the internet , informations from books and knowledge are needed to complete a project.

When doing with friends , teamwork is needed. Responsibilities are needed to be given out equally. No one is suppose to get more or lesser than the others. It will not be fair to the person who gets the most responsibilities to take care of. Sometimes when doing project with friends , there will surely be someone who does not agree with the other. Teamwork plays a very importanat part when working together. It is good to do a project with friends because you will get to learn more than what you have known and you can share what you have known to your frinds.

When doing projects yourself , you will have more responsibillites and more work is needed. The good thing when doing alone is that you would not have to fight with your friend which is better. You will have to make your own choice.

As a student, I wish to pass my exams and graduate.My goals are to achieve good results.Like, passing my exams for every subjects.Since then, I took my homework seriously such as working on my projects,learning my subjects.

As for the second semester, from my reflections, I think I must work harder.
Being a lazy person, I hoped that I would be able to pass my second semester. Not only that,the steps to achieve the growth for myself are I would like to use my reflection.I could use my reflection to see my weakness. During the last semester, I remembered facing a challenge. That was doing badly for my English and Science. At that time, I did my homework at the eleventh hour often.I don't study till examination.Not only that, I was quite forgetful at times. My grades were poor. I failed the important subjects.

After getting my results, I was shocked. I regretted not doing my homework in the right way. Since then, I tried to study hard and complete my homework in time.

From that moment, I managed to correct my way of studying. I would try to study.Not only that,I managed to complete my homework in time,paying attention in class and revising my work for the examination. I managed to jot down my homework in my handbook at times.
I learnt the importance of the /every subjects .

From this experience, I will work harder to achieve my goals and plan for my next semester.

The interesting thing about learning and studying is,having projects to be done.projects can also be useful when our exams marks are low.So don't take projects easily.Put in effort to everything you do.

Projects such as history,needs evidence.And we need to surf the net to know about the past.History is about finding things in ancient time.So,when this is open to teenagers,teenagers will get to know better about the past.

when dOing group work,it'll be hard for us if one of our team mate does not cooperate.A project will be meaningful if eu does it with your heart and soul.

The goal that i've set in september is the same like all my classmates do.Non other than studying and cathing up on subjects that have been left behind for the coming exams.

In the first term,i did not do well in my subjects.Especially on my maths and science.I constantly get 50 percent and above for both subjects.I knew that i was weak in both of the subjects.

I regret studying late at night and did a last minute revision.But, i still paid focus in class.So as to not left anything that have been taught.

For the coming exams i will try to work even harder than before.I will set targets for myself so that i will be focus to pass.I will ask questions when in doubt and learnt from my previous mistakes and not to easily give up.I will also study with my friends which are good in the subjects that i'm weak in.

This semester,i was introduced to many different subjects that have not been taught before.The examples of the new subjects are home economics,design and technology,history,geogaraphy and many more.
At first thought,design and technology doesn't seemed to interest me most.But as i learned more,the hands on seems to be the interesting part about design and technology.

The goal that I set for myself was to do well in the coming exam. I regretted for the past exams that I had not done as well as i wanted. This time , I really studied and paid full attention in class. Sometimes , I easily get distracted by my friends but i tried my best to stay focus.

I did revise my work at home for a few hours. Whenever I got questions that I am still not sure of , i would ask my parents , friends and also teachers. Before the exam started , there will be a self-revesion. During the self-revision , I revise as much as I could before the exam started. Even though I felt as if I had revise enough , I felt unprepared.

After I got the results , I was pleased with my results except for English. I got 50%for English. I will try to work harder. That is my next goal.

I rememeber there was once i got F9 for my science. When i got back my science paper, 16/40 was written on the paper, and a 38/100 F9 was written in my result slip. I do not believe that i failed. That time my science teacher was Miss Chua. I admit that i did not pay attention in class, because i find science boring.

When Miss Chua was leaving school, she told me that actually i'm ok but need to pay more attention in class. Since then, i try to pay attention in class in order to pass my SA2. I try to memerise all the important notes from the textbook, but only some came out. I also try to complete all the projects that was given to get the marks.

In the end of year result slip, i passed my science. I learnt a lesson from this experience is that i should pay attention to all the lesson even if i dislike the subjects in order to do well.

This semester , I have learnt a lot of things. The two subjects which are new to me are Home Economics and Design & Technology. I never thought that these two subjects would be as fun a I thought it would be.

The first half of the semester , I learnt home econs. It was not as easy as I thought but slowly , I learnt to get used to it. I learnt how to cook and also bake by myself without any help from an adult. It was quite fun. The second half of the semester , I learnt design & technology. I learnt how to design a door stopper. It was not easy but still I had fun.

I think projects are useful and important work for me.I think projects are set for us to prepare ourselves.For example, it give us a sense of secure when we are prepared in the society.However, projects also need teamwork.
Teamwork, could determinate the results of the workdone.Sometimes, disputes could break out between friends of the team. The reasons were like time problems, fightning of opinions etc.
Well, as for diffcult projects, we would tense to fight for different roles.

For example, projects that need other information sources like the internet or printing, unhappiness breaks out becaue everyone will want the easier job.Well, I think that there are positive and negative results.
If I am doing a diffcult role, it may take up part of my time.However,if the next time such things occur I would be able to solve it easily.
Well, I think projects has their pros and cons. I think the point of doing projects is to let us learn something.(gaining knowledge) I think teamwork is the most important element . It would determinted the results of the work.

Being a student,I always wanted to work hard and faster leave secondary school.Before I leave secondary school I will keep work hard and set goal every year.

I have passed secondary 1.Now I need is to pass secondary 2 so that I could go on to secondary 3 and to secondary 4.After my parent mey Ms Mindy,my form teacher I have changed a lot.I was just like a lion that was awaken.I did not do well because I am lazy.After I wake up,I became to be "powerful".

I reach for my goal by working hard.Secondary 2 is harder then secondary 1.Secondary 2 have steaming.I set the goal to be in the Science steam because I said that my brothers are in D&T steam and they are learning D&T in Poly.D&T have very less girls in the steam and not very suitable for girls.I think that I can do it and get into the Science steam.

During the holidays,there are a lot of homework.After the holidays,I still have not complete my homework.I get scolded by the teachers for not completing my homework.I think that some teachers have some problem because they give a lot of homework if not they never give any homework.

I got some regret during term 2 because I failed my English for getting a D7.I erased the regrets for passing my SA2.I was so happy.During the term 1 holidays,I did not revise any work.I everyday play computer games and made my temper not very good.

I was thinking back the things I did during this year.I thought that I was quite lazy for the first two terms.Last two terms I start to wake up and study hard.

Project is a good way of teaching and learning.Doing project can rise our knowlegde.We research on things and have fun.Project is like game.Search things,answer it and get scores.I enjoy doing project because I like to do research even though it was difficult.

Some project with observation,calculation and conclusion are not easy to do.We need to think very hard for conclusion.We need to get informations and keywords for conclusion.

Some projects need a lot of teamwork.Teamwork is hard to control because some of the members think that they were correct but they were wrong.That makes project a work "irritating".That is why students do not like teacher to group them and that is why they like to be with their friends.Friends make the teamwork stronger and make the project more correct without quarelling.

My goal was to do my best,do well in the examination and leave secondary 1 without regrets.When examination is getting closer,I tried to concentrate more during English and Maths lessons.I need to do well in English and Maths because I am not good at English.Although I am quite good in Maths,but sometime I will have a lot of mistakes during Maths examination.

During the examination period,I kept revising my work and try to test myself.I revised my work for 2 to 3 hours everyday because my mother does not want me to overdo it.After the revisions,I was allowed to use the computer and watch television for a while and coutinued to revise.

I never look back and does not leave regrets behind after the examination.I never wanted me to score very high and just average because this is the only way to make me leave without regrets.

I learnt a lot of things in this semester.I learnt a new subject call F&N.The teacher taugh us a lot of things about food and nutritions.I remember there was a cooking test.I cooked pasta soup.When I let the teacher to try my cooking,the teacher tried it and kept laughing.I does not know why.When I went back home,my mom tried some and said that it is quite okay.I told my mom that the teacher laughed when tried it.

When my brothers having their secondary school life,they very less talk about F&N.They only talk about D&T.So when I start my secondary school life,I am already quite good at D&T.My brothers are in D&T steam,so they can teach me D&T.

F&N is quite fun,but when I start learning,I think that it was boring.When I study it fo a long time,I know that I was wrong from the beginning.F&N is not boring anymore because I started to like the feel when I was cooking.The feel that was scare of burning,over-cooked all that.

I put in a lot of effort in secondary 1.Now I need put more effort in secondary 2 next year.My friends from secondary 2 this year told me to double the effort I put in secondary 1 so I could go to a good class.

The goal I set for myself was to work hard and get into the best class.When the exams were approaching,I tried my very best to concentrate and took down notes in class.Whenever I did not understand anything that the teacher said, I would make an effort to step forward and ask.

The day before the start of the End Year Examination,I did not really study that hard.The next day, I suddenly realised that I missed out an important part of the revision.Luckily,we had a self-revision time before the examination started.I felt seriously relieved that I had an opportunity to revise just before the start of the examination.

In this semester,I learnt alot of new and educational things.The two new subjects that I liked most were "Home Economics" and "Design and Technology".At first,I did not really like these two subjects because I thought it was quite boring.

However,after having hands-on experience at these two subjects,I realised that it was not as bad as I thought it would be.In Home Economics,I learnt how to cook a dish for myself.So,that teaches me to be more self-dependent.

Actually having projects in every subjects is good because it give us bonus points that will be added to our results and we get to learn more.If i do project, i would prefer to do in groups because we get to share our opinions and ideas and we do not feel lonely.

I think that projects that need calculation and observation is more diffcult and troublesome. Observation, we need to observe every changes carefully and we need to write it down clearly.

If we do a group project, we should cooperate with each other and should not quarell over small things. We should also learn to forgive and forget. In each group, there must be a group leaders to assign task for each group members so that the project can be completed on time. I learnt many new things in school this semester. I learnt a new subject called ' D & T' , design and technology. In this subject, i realised that actually there are many things that we can make ourselves. In the lesson, we learnt to make a door stopper and a circuit and we learned to make design using computer.

During 'D & T' lesson, I learnt that some machine can only be used for purpose and we should not mix new and old batteries together, i also learnt that if we glue something wrongly, we can use a kind of liquid to seperate them nicely.

I also discovered that actually i like music. I enjoy music lesson althought sometimes we need to sing and dance. Maybe because when i was in primary school i hardly had any music lesson that's why i enjoy music. Music allows our body to relax. I regretted last semester,i did not do well for my exams.I made a big mistake last semester which was not revising my work enough and spending time lazing around too much. The end of year exams were not far away, but i did not care much.

Instead of studying,i laze around,i remembered always after coming back from school , which is about two, i ate lunch and the rest of the time which i was supposed to study , guess what? i slept till six or seven. Then,when i woke up, it was already like seven. I ate my dinner. At night was when i did my homework and revise for my end of year exams. How It influenced me was all mentioned in topic two like i made a time table and so on.That was my mistake which i regretted and learn from it.

Doing projects in every subject is very good for your daily homework. It becomes like a soure of revision for your upcoming examinations.Projects can be done alone or in a group.

Projects done in a group is much better than doing alone because you can work out a problem with your group members. There is something challenging in working as a group,it is cooperation.Many group members could not work together instead they quarell with one another.

We can also use the internet as a soure of information. When we do a maths project, and we do not know how to answer a question, we seek help from our member. I have learned many new things in school and at home this semester. In school, i learned a new topic called food and nutrition. I learned many interesting things from the topic, but the most enjoyable one was cooking. My teacher taught us to cook all kinds of dishes and pastries like strawberry tarts. We had a practical exam. I practised cooking spaghetti at home, and when it was exam time, i gave it my best.I was surprised that i scored quite well.

Actually i totally forgot about my homework and during the last weekend , my friend asked me about the homework and that was when i realised that i had not completed my homework. I only had two days to complete it. I quickly started my homework that very day.

Projects- considered as homework are very important to all students. First of all the projects come with marks as a reward for our hard work. I think that projects are given in groups so that students can interact with other students and do the final product together.

The most difficult part in the project (group work) is cooperation. Most of the time group members would not cooperate and would not do the task given. Once one person and the group dose not do the task given, the project would not be completed on time, thats the reason there is a group leader in each group to give equal number of tasks to each person.

Projects can also be interesting because while doing projects, we would learn new stuff that we never learnt before, but projects can be a pain especially when a project is not handed up to the teacher on time.

The second semester was a very stressful semester as there was the final year examinations and other tests, but through this i have discovered new talents in myself. Some are things that i didn't expect to do at all.

During the intense revision week just one week before the final year examinations, i reflected on the past semester and the 2Nd semester. I did realise that i had learnt new talents
like being able to do well in math and because of this, i was able to help a few of my friends when they did not understand any math questions. I was also able to understand even more 'clearly' when my history teacher taught us how to evaluate and answer questions.
