Topic 2 (Vanessa)

The goal I set for myself was to work hard and get into the best class.When the exams were approaching,I tried my very best to concentrate and took down notes in class.Whenever I did not understand anything that the teacher said, I would make an effort to step forward and ask.

The day before the start of the End Year Examination,I did not really study that hard.The next day, I suddenly realised that I missed out an important part of the revision.Luckily,we had a self-revision time before the examination started.I felt seriously relieved that I had an opportunity to revise just before the start of the examination.

When I got back all of my results,I was very happy as I had achieved my personal goal.

Topic 1 (Vanessa)

In this semester,I learnt alot of new and educational things.The two new subjects that I liked most were "Home Economics" and "Design and Technology".At first,I did not really like these two subjects because I thought it was quite boring.

However,after having hands-on experience at these two subjects,I realised that it was not as bad as I thought it would be.In Home Economics,I learnt how to cook a dish for myself.So,that teaches me to be more self-dependent.

Well,Design and Technology was mainly about using our hands to make things.Examples are,door stoppers and door bells.It was very interesting but at the same time also quite tiring.

I hope to put all of these knowledge and experience into use when I go into secondary two.

Topic 2 (Weilian)

The goal that I set for myself was to do well for my Year-End examinations. I have tried to study hard and concentrate during lessons in school. Well, I do regret at times for wasting my time.
The steps to my goal was to pay attention during lessons.At times, if I am baffled by my homework, I would try to solve them.I tried to attempt questions.The solution to seek help was to ask my friends and teachers.
I would attempt and do my assigments.By doing so, I would learnt and revise my work.Before the exam, there was a self- revision time. Using the last minute revision,I managed to learn and asked questions that perplexed me. Although some questions did not appear during the exam,I felt at ease with a little regret about my actions.I regret doing my homework and asking at the eleventh hour.
I will work harder for my next exam in order to pass and achieved my goal.

Topic 1 (weilian)

During this semester, I have learnt many things and information from school. After reflecting through, I have learnt that I could understand my work better through understanding.

Since then, I realised that it was an important element. I tried means and ways to learn things with my reflection.After all , it did help a little and I get to learn easier than before. Not only that ,I have also tried to ask my friends and seek help as much as I could.Like,when I a m baffled in my homework or other problems.

From this semester, I learnt cooking during the HomeEconomcis lessons.Although cooking seems to be troublesome and diffcult,I managed to learnt and understand the lesson.I felt cooking important.If I am hungry, I could easily cook for myself.Cooking can be intersting and fun.Like cooking spagetti,we could learn other countries culture and food cuisine.

Although sometimes problems still surfaced, I will try my best and learnt using what I have learnt.
