I definitely want to be a better person in my studies and want to achieve better results for semester 2 and upcoming semesters. that is a goal that is a goal that i set for myself and have yet to achieve it.

I can say that i have have achieved half of what i want to become and would definitely work hard and achieve the other half as well.this is a very tough goal that i have set so far and i think achieving this might be very difficult. I think i have changed from a lazy student to a undeterred student during the past two semesters.

To achieve what i want, i have to start working harder from now onwards because sec2 would be even tougher than sec1. So i have to start working hard from now so that i would not be left behind and can be one step closer to achieve what i want to become .

Whenever holidays come, there would be homework for all of us and thats what most of us hate, but actually it is for our own good that teachers do this. During the past semester end there was the June holidays and as usual i did not do my homework during the first few weeks.

Actually i totally forgot about my homework and during the last weekend , my friend asked me about the homework and that was when i realised that i had not completed my homework. I only had two days to complete it. I quickly started my homework that very day.

I realised that i had no time to finish all of my homework, so i decided to do the easier ones so i could finish more homeworks and move on to the rest. I did manage to complete most of my homeworks but did not complete some and because of that i got scolding from my teacher. I learnt my lesson and now i never do my homework in the last minute.

Projects- considered as homework are very important to all students. First of all the projects come with marks as a reward for our hard work. I think that projects are given in groups so that students can interact with other students and do the final product together.

The most difficult part in the project (group work) is cooperation. Most of the time group members would not cooperate and would not do the task given. Once one person and the group dose not do the task given, the project would not be completed on time, thats the reason there is a group leader in each group to give equal number of tasks to each person.

Projects can also be interesting because while doing projects, we would learn new stuff that we never learnt before, but projects can be a pain especially when a project is not handed up to the teacher on time.

The one that i set for my self was to do well in my final year examinations and i did achieve my goal, but to achieve that goal hard work was important. There are many steps to success and i had to make sure that i did whatever i was suppose to do to achieve my goal.

The first thing i did was to pay close attention to whatever my teacher was teaching u during lessons and did revision at home on whatever my teacher taught me on that day. That was my first step i took to achieve my goal.

During the last week before the final year examinations, i studied with my classmates after school just to make sure i understood what was taught in class. After the examinations were over i was happy with my results. Setting a goal is easy but following the goal is very difficult because of laziness, but there would be many benefits once your goals are achieved.

The second semester was a very stressful semester as there was the final year examinations and other tests, but through this i have discovered new talents in myself. Some are things that i didn't expect to do at all.

During the intense revision week just one week before the final year examinations, i reflected on the past semester and the 2Nd semester. I did realise that i had learnt new talents
like being able to do well in math and because of this, i was able to help a few of my friends when they did not understand any math questions. I was also able to understand even more 'clearly' when my history teacher taught us how to evaluate and answer questions.

During the final year examinations i did well enough to go to Sec2 express and i was content with my result, the talents which i discovered in myself helped me to achieve the results.
