Meaning - preventing entry or exit or a course of action
Sentence - My father raised his hand against the path he barred.
2) Surged
Meaning - like a large wave
Sentence - The whole school surged out of the school hurriedly.
3) Pursue
Meaning - ran after
Sentence - The policemen do not oursue the thief anymore but they decide to investigate who
is the thief.
4) Whirrling
Meaning - the shape of something rotating rapidly
Sentence - I ran along the cliff like a great bird in flight, whirrling passed my head.
5) Ceased
Meaning - to stop / pass out
Sentence - As my younger sister is crying, I try to give her a sweet to cease her from crying.

you let me had a better understanding of the words too .
now i understand what's the meaning of those words.
in the sentence of 'pursue' ,there's a word you spell wrongly. the word is 'pursue' but you spell it as 'oursue'.
i hope you will put in more words that are difficult to understand
The word of barred is correct. If you think is wrong, you can go and check it to let you have a better understanding of the word.
I will put in more diffcult words next time round.
