1. Why did the Aleut's not want to give the chest to Karana's father?
2. How did the war started?
3.Why was it a "sunless day"?
4.Why were the Aleuts happy to leave the island?
5.Why was Karana's father not pleased?
6.Why was there little light in the sky?
7.Why did Karana did not trust the Aleut's?
8.Why did the russian that get past Karana's father spoke to the Aleut's?

1)The Aleus wanted to trick their otter pelts.
2)The tribe want them to pay for killing the otters.
3)It is going to rain.
4)They got the pelts without paying.
5)The deal is not enough.

1. They might have been selfish,they might have thought that it was not fair as it was their riskk and hard work.
2.when the aleuts refused to to give three more chests of otter bales.
3. As if they leave in the dark, they would not be noticed.
4.They thought they would not have to pay for the their word.
5.The aleuts did not keep to their word.
6.because it was a sunless day
7.Before when they came they did give as promised.
8.They wanted the otter pelts already given back.
1) They have been very selfish as they thought they are the only one who are working hard .
